Über 580 Teilnehmer, meist Fach-Experten und PLM-Anwender aus Industrie, Forschung, Wissenschaft und Lehre boten Gelegenheit zum persönlichen Meinungs- und Erfahrungsaustausch über innovative PLM-Lösungen und branchenspezifischen Themen des Produktmanagements.

Speakers
Auf der Agenda standen neben den Keynotes namhafter Unternehmen, praxisorientierte Kunden-Vorträge und Workshops aus verschiedenen Branchen zu unterschiedlichen PLM-Themen. Während der erste Tagungstag branchenübergreifende Themen und Anwendungsbeispiele behandelte, lag am zweiten Tag der Schwerpunkt auf der Automobilindustrie.
- Tag : Fertigungsindustrie, u.a.: CLAAS, Detecon, ONYX Composites, Solar Impulse, STIHL, TÜV Rheinland.
- Tag : Automotive, u.a.: Bertrandt, Robert Bosch, Continental, Hella, Škoda, VW und weitere.
Programm
Die Forumsteilnehmer konnten sich in 27 Vorträgen und 12 Workshops darüber informieren, wie PLM-Lösungen in allen Industriezweigen zu innovativen Produkten führen. Eine parallele Fachausstellung bot den Besuchern die Möglichkeit, sich bei verschiedenen Lösungsanbietern über ihr PLM-Angebot und die Produkte aus erster Hand zu informieren.

Neben der Abendveranstaltung waren folgende Keynote-Speaker die Höhepunkte der PLM-Veranstaltung:
- Clemens Neese, Horex GmbH: “Wie aus einer Zufallsidee das neue Horex VR6 Motorrad wurde”
- Hannes Arch, Kunstflug-Pilot und Extremsportler: „Motivation zu Höchstleistung“.

Dassault Systèmes hosted the 3rd PLM Forum 2011 for two days at the m:con Mannheimer Rosengarten under the motto:
We Speak PLM
“Product Lifecycle Management solutions help companies in all industries to achieve the goals of increased efficiency, cost reduction and sustainable production and thus gain a competitive edge.”
More than 580 participants, mostly experts and PLM users from industry, research, science and academia, offered the opportunity for a personal exchange of views and experiences on innovative PLM solutions and industry-specific product management topics.

Speakers
The agenda included keynotes from well-known companies, practice-oriented customer presentations and workshops from various industries on different PLM topics. While the first day of the conference dealt with cross-industry topics and application examples, the second day focused on the automotive industry.
