“Dipl.-Phys. Thomas Fabula worked successfully for our company for more than three years in the following areas. This involved the systematic conversion of our company to CAD-automated design and planning work for large-scale plants in the field of the paper and pulp industry, as well as general chemistry. Mr. Fabula’s areas of responsibility included in particular

  • Development of an overall concept and system-analytical formulation of company-internal workflows for the definition and implementation of a uniform, operational software environment on a company-owned IT system.
  • Creation of a program network system for project processing, including CAD software, master data management and parts list generator, as well as automated drawing documentation. This included both the extension of the commercial CAD system to company-specific requirements (e.g. isometry, suspensions, etc.) and the programming of CAD software interfaces for exchange with external programs (post-processors).
  • General consultancy (e.g. technical support at the CeBIT trade fair in Hannover), in particular support in hardware and software purchasing decisions concerning company requirements. The complete IT system, with a total of three workstations, was designed by Mr. Fabula.
  • Training and familiarization of the planning engineers during a total of six one-week stays in our company. This covered the work processes of producing foundation, steel construction, piping and assembly plans, as well as the production of detailed drawings of fittings suitable for the workshop. This also included the definition and implementation of component and fitting libraries.

In the course of the three years of cooperation, Mr. Fabula has carried out all tasks very conscientiously, independently and to our complete satisfaction. We hope for a further trustful and successful cooperation.”
