Trainer-A License

Successful completion of the courses and examination to become a Taekwondo Trainer-A with the official examination and teaching commission of the German Taekwondo Association (DTU). The examination took place in Bavaria, more precisely in Ansbach, Franconia (Germany).

“If you want others to achieve more than you ever imagined, train them in an appreciative and motivating way that is characterized by acceptance and empathy … anything else will not capture their souls and empower them to grow beyond themselves.” ~ Thomas Fabula

The DTU Trainer-A license is the highest level of trainer certification in the German Taekwondo Union (DTU), comparable to the DSB Trainer-A, which qualifies holders to train and coach athletes at the highest level. Strict requirements must be met, including minimum age (21y), valid Trainer-B license, internships, and exams. It is the premier class, which goes far beyond the basic qualifications and is aimed at working with top athletes.
