Der dienst-älteste Freund Sträter – Bundesrichter a.D. – bedankte sich im Namen von allen sieben in einer kurzen Rede. Im Laufe des Abends übergab anschließend Freund Scheiter das Präsidentenamt an Freund Prof. Dr. Armin B. Cremers, der sein Programm für das neue rotarische Jahr den anwesenden Gästen vorstellte.
Paul Harris Fellows Awards
During the handover of the presidency, Christian Scheiter, president of the Rotary Club of Bonn, honored seven Rotarian friends for their services. Dr. Thomas Fabula was honored with the Paul Harris Fellow Award for his extraordinary commitment to integration through sports and education. The following awards were given:

The “longest-serving” Friend Sträter – retired Federal Judge – thanked him in the name of all seven in a short speech. In the course of the evening, Friend Scheiter then handed over the presidency to Friend Prof. Dr. Armin B. Cremers, who presented his program for the new rotarian year to the guests present.
