Mechadyne was founded in 1984 as an independent development company serving the automotive industry; for the past twenty years it has focused on technologies for reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency in internal combustion engines.

Rheinmetall makes a purchase in England

Neckarsulm-based KSPG AG, a member of the Rheinmetall Group, acquired Mechadyne International Limited Kirtlington, Oxfordshire, Great Britain, in 2012. The good brand name of Mechadyne and its products were integrated into the KSPG subsidiary Pierburg GmbH.
